Inaugural  Term 2011.    
The Eutopia Project
A project designed to realize and facilitate the creation of the literary principle or concept of utopia as a literal and physical reality

Harnessing the power of language and literacy, tempered with intellect and fused with passion. Though our collective creative exploration cemented by common experience we have laid a foundation of concrete results,. So others may assemble, build and better ourselves and improve all of our futures

We invite you all to become euphoric brilliant and ecstatic, come pull up a lounge chair and sit by the sunny shores of the Eutopiatic or maybe a scenic rail tour by stream train through, the rugged mountains of Eutopiaina



Second Term
The Cut Ups

Attention;
creatures convicts and characters
of those who find it confining at the coop we will be conducting a cultural coup currently commencing conveniently as we pigeons are so often known to do recklessly reclaiming creative enclaves establishing connections, continuous conduits cascading in a carnival of community collaging colliding scopes of those truly spatial people who in convoluted congressional congregation who actually show up and take this class producing some of the some of the most amazingly imaginative, original, creative, insightful and funniest works in a very long time.


Third Term
The Cult of Cut Ups
The Writing Revolution in Place has simply not been just a class, course, workshop or group of students. It is first foremost and will continue to be, a family supporting nurturing and committed to each other. So committed to each other that the percentage of returning class members is so extremely high and withdrawals are nearly nonexistent. The Writing Revolution in Place is now jokingly referred to as a cult by some the veteran or the original members of the class. Thus strong emotional connections to each other, the class, its legacy and mandate, are easily forged and are continually reinforced.

We have left very deep, very large long lasting impressions on our communities. Even farther reaching is the impact of the concentric ripples which each individual class member causes in their lives outside this class. The members of this class do not stop their community involvement on exiting the classroom door. The perspectives observations concepts freedoms rights and obligations studied during class. Shape and influence every step these students, citizens and free thinking individuals take with us on our continuing journeys. With very few exceptions each member of this class is involved or goes on to involve themselves in multiple programs courses and organizations.


Fourth Term
The Unusual Suspects

This revolutionary class of co learners is drawn from a wide cross section of communities and backgrounds. Consisting of members with PHD’s, GED’s, Trades persons, Academics, Administrators, Artists, Writers both published and unpublished, Community Volunteers, Current University students and some whom have completed their studies , Grand Parents, Parents, Children and Grandchildren. Inner City Community members growing trough better literacy.

The class itself is adaptive metamorphic and
trans formative. Spontaneous organic almost serendipitous and it begins early in the term and usually runs past the end of term. We are not constrained or restrained by walls or space developing a unique conceptual boundless classroom. We laugh and cry together, we cook eat and create together. Together we chase and catch dreams. Recently this class was graciously almost reverently cited and acknowledged within a current member’s doctoral defense.


At the conclusion of each term Writing Revolution in Place presents at least one public reading or readings in a downtown location, additionally we also produce an exhibit or mount an art installation. Finally after all our work is completed we all gather together for a private end of term feast!
